چکیده

Broussonetia kazinoki × papyrifera (ZJGS) is a hybrid species in Moraceae family, which has very complicated origin. The excellent characteristics of fast growth, strong soil and water conservation ability, high leaf protein content stem fiber ZJGS make it both ecological benefits the mining area economically valuable. This study aims to further understand other taxa through chloroplast (cp) genome structure comparison with 12 closely related species. Among 13 species, cp length seven (ranges from 160,239 bp 162,594 bp) larger than that six Morus 158,459 159,265 bp). 77 shared protein-coding genes (PCGs) obvious positive selection Ka/Ks ratios acted on petD rpl16 B. papyrifera, respectively. Phylogenetic analysis based PCGs 28 shows maternal kazinoki. These findings provide data support for origin hybridization genomic resources future resource development molecular breeding.

Cytotoxic isoprenylated flavans of Broussonetia kazinoki.

Two new prenylflavans [kazinols Q (1) and R (2)] and five known compounds [kazinols D (3), K (4), and H, 7,4'-dihydroxyflavan (5), and oleanolic acid] were isolated from the root bark of Broussonetia kazinoki. The cytotoxic activity of 1-5 was evaluated against several different cell lines.

Studies on the constituents of Broussonetia species X. Six new alkaloids from Broussonetia kazinoki Sieb.

Six new alkaloids, broussonetines W, X, M1, U1, J3, and J2 (1-6) were isolated from the branches of Broussonetia kazinoki SIEB. (Moraceae) as minor constituents. They were formulated as (2R,3R,4R,5R)-2-hydroxy-methyl-3,4-dihydroxy-5-17-(cyclohexy-2-on-1(6)-enyl)heptyllpyrrolidine (1), (2R,3S,4R,5R)-2-hydroxymethyl-3,4-dihydroxy-5-17-(cyclohexy-2-on-1(6)-enyl)heptyl]pyrrolidine-4-O-beta-D-glucop...

Sex Distribution of Paper Mulberry (Broussonetia papyrifera) in the Pacific

BACKGROUND Paper mulberry (Broussonetia papyrifera (L.) L'Hér. ex Vent) is a dioecious tree native to East Asia and mainland Southeast-Asia, introduced prehistorically to Polynesia as a source of bark fiber by Austronesian-speaking voyagers. In Oceania, trees are coppiced and harvested for production of bark-cloth, so flowering is generally unknown. A survey of botanical records of paper mulber...

Genetic diversity of Broussonetia papyrifera populations in southwest China.

Broussonetia papyrifera is an important native tree species with high economic value in southwest China. Its resources are drastically reduced because of over-harvesting and habitat fragmentation. In this study, 17 natural populations of B. papyrifera were analyzed using inter-simple sequence repeat (ISSR) markers to assess the genetic diversity and population structure. In total, 100 bands wer...

Characterization of microsatellite markers for Broussonetia papyrifera (Moraceae)1

PREMISE OF THE STUDY Broussonetia papyrifera (Moraceae) is native to Asia and is used as a medicinal plant and as a source of fiber for making paper. It was dispersed into the Pacific region as a fiber source for making nonwoven textiles (barkcloth). Microsatellites were developed to trace the human-mediated dispersal of this species into the Pacific region. METHODS AND RESULTS A set of 36 mi...
